Expected Outcomes
• I mproved capacity of scientists from the Mekong River Basin Sub-Region in inventory of GHG and aerosol emissions from biogenic and biomass burning activities associated to different vegetation land use.
• GIS-map of vegetation land use of the Mekong River Basin Sub-Region.
• Establishment of Sub-Regional GHG and aerosol emissions database.
• Scientific information provided to policy makers of Asia-Pacific region.
• Knowledge and know-how transferred to other countries in the region, contributing to enhance their involvement in the international effort to improve GHG and aerosol emission inventories.
• Provision of appropriate scientific information to policy makers and scientists in developing countries and other international activities.
