The Joint Graduate School of Energy
and Environment ( JGSEE )
is an autonomous graduate school instituted under the
jurisdiction of the Council of the King Mongkut's University of
Technology Thonburi . It was established in 1998 for the purpose
of implementing the Postgraduate Education and Research in Science
and Technology Development Project of the Commission on Higher Education
(CHE), which aims to strength postgraduate education and research
as a means of building a strong foundation for research and development
in science and technology, and to help support Thailand's economic
competitiveness. The School receives funding from the Thai government
through the CHE - ADB Higher Education Development Project and the
Energy Conservation Promotion Fund of the Ministry of Energy.
