Contributions to the Journal

Manuscripts related to energy and the environment are welcomed by the Editors. All manuscripts must be written in clear and concise English. Authors are requested to submit three copies of their original manuscript to the Editor. When a paper has more than one author, all authors should sign the accompanying letter.

All manuscripts will be technically evaluated by at least two referees to ensure accuracy, standard and relevance. Revisions to the manuscript may be required before final acceptance. Upon acceptance of an article by the journal, the author(s) will be asked to transfer copyright of the article to the publisher, ensuring the widest possible dissemination of information.

For the final version of the manuscript, the authors are requested to submit a diskette corresponding exactly to the hard copy. The operating system and the word processor used should be specified clearly.

Types of Contributions

The categories of contributions which will be considered are listed below. Contributions may be of any length up to a limit of 10,000 words or 24 pages.

• Research papers describing original research findings in specific fields.
• Short communications making a novel point for rapid publication.
• Literature reviews examining current developments and likely future trends across the whole spectrum of energy and environmental technologies, bridging the gap between research and development, and practical applications.
• Letters to the Editor with constructive criticism and comment on previously published articles are encouraged. These submissions will also be given a technical review, and authors of the previously published articles will be offered an opportunity to reply.
• Reports on conferences, book reviews, notices of forthcoming meetings, etc.
