Energy and Environment Policy

Energy and environmental policy study aims to support decision making and planning at the national level in four areas:

• Investigation of energy supply by considering the environmental impact, cogeneration technology, energy chain analysis, and social impact and acceptance.

• Promotion of increased use of renewable energy including biofuels, distributed generation, and social adaptation.

• Study of policy issues related to the promotion of energy efficiency in various sectors, including building, industry and transport.

• Policies for pollution control and environment protection and the assessment of mitigation options.
