During 20 – 23 February 2018, a JGSEE delegation visited the Mitsubishi Heavy Industry (MHI) Research and Innovation Center and attended the Thailand-Japan Joint research project annual meeting in Japan.
The JGSEE delegation, including, Assoc Prof Dr Suneerat Fukuda, JGSEE director, Assoc Prof Dr Nakorn Worasuwannarak, member of AFPL, Dr Boonrod Sajjakulnukit member of EEP, and JGSEE researchers from AFPL, Dr Supachita Krerkkaiwan and Dr Janewit Wannapeera, visited the Mitsubishi Heavy Industry (MHI) Research and Innovation Center in Nagasaki, Japan. There, the team visited a pilot-scale coal combustion facility with a 4 ton/h capacity, an integrated gasification combined cycle (IGCC) facility using entrained flow air-blown gasifier and a BTL process facility converting biomass to biofuel.
