UBM Asia and JGSEE-CEE, KMUTT successfully organized the 12th edition of Renewable Energy Asia 2016 (REA 2016) on the theme “Energy Transition for ASEAN’s Future” on 1 June 2016 at BITEC in Bangkok. The event aimed at providing a forum for participants to update and share their knowledge and experiences with regards to policy formulation, and technology and market developments. RE-Asia 2016 featured both plenary and parallel sessions with local and international speakers delivering talks on the following key topics, 1) Integrated Design of Architecture and Engineering; 2) Sustainable Bio-economy; 3) PV, Wind and Storage: 4) Energy Efficiency in Industry and 5) Innovative Solution for Waste to Energy. The event was very successful gathering over 150 participants from the industry, government and academia, from Thailand as well as neighboring countries and beyond.
