On 3 June 2016, the National Science, Technology and Innovation Policy Office (STI) and the National Science and Technology Development Agency (NSTDA), Ministry of Science and Technology, Thailand, the Centre for the Development of Industrial Technology (CDTI), Ministry of Economy and Competitiveness, Spain, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Thailand and the Embassy of Spain in Bangkok organised the Thai-Spanish Joint Workshop on “Opportunities for Industrial R&D Cooperation in Green Technologies” at STI. The objective of the joint workshop was to increase the cooperation on trade, investment, innovation and technology between Thailand and Spain.
On this occasion, under the topic “Thailand: Environmental and Renewable Energy Sectors Overview”,Asst Prof Dr Sutham Pathumsawad, Energy and Environment Cluster, NSTDA and JGSEE-CEE affiliated staff, presented on “Current Energy Policy and Energy & Environment Research and Development @ NSTDA” and Assoc Prof Dr Sirintornthep Towprayoon (Director of JGSEE) presented on “Current status of Renewable Energy in Thailand: Waste-to-energy”.
