JGSEE-CEE, KMUTT was been selected by Thailand International Cooperation Agency (TICA) to host the Technical Training on “Environmental Pollution Control Engineering and Technology” during 1st – 13nd September 2015 at JGSEE-CEE, KMUTT for governmental officers from Ministry of National Resources and Environment and Ministry of Science and Technology, Lao PDR. The training course included lectures on Air, Water and Soil Pollution, Waste Management and Treatment, Life Cycle Assessment, Sustainability Assessment, and Environmental Pollution Control Technology and related Engineering. The theoretical course was complishmented by hands-on workshop and technical visits in order to provide the trainees the opportunity to study case in practice and interact with specialized practitioners. The technical excursions included: at 1) Automotive Emission Laboratory, Pollutopn Control Departmnet; 2) EGAT Wang Noi Power Plant; and 3) Pairojsompongpanich Co.,Ltd. Municipal Solid Waste Landfill equipped with a 2 MW Landfill Gas Power Plant.
