UBM Asia and JGSEE hold ASE 2019 at BITEC

UBM Asia, Ministry of Energy, and JGSEE-CEE at KMUTT successfully organised the International Conference on the Connecting ASEAN Smart Cities, Grids and E-mobility or ASE 2019 (formerly known as the International Conference of Renewable Energy Asia) on the theme “Moving towards ASEAN’s Smart Cities”. The event was held on 5 June 2019 at the Bangkok International Trade and Exhibition Center (BITEC). It aimed at providing a forum for participants to update and share their knowledge and experiences with regards to policy formulation, and technology and market developments. ASE 2019 featured both plenary and parallel sessions.

The plenary session was held in conjunction with the International Electric Vehicle Technology Conference & Exhibition (iEVTech 2019) & ASEAN EV Summit 2019. For the parallel sessions, local and international speakers were invited to deliver talks on key topics, including: 1) Smart Energy: Renewable – Batteries, Wind, PV, Biomass and Cities; 2) Smart Cities (Communities/Buildings). Besides, ASE 2019 gathered over 200 international participants from academia, industry and government.
