An environmental policy and waste-management specialist with about 20 years of experience across Asia and the Pacific. He connects policy development, scientific evidence and practical implementation through programmes with governments, international organizations, academia and the private sector.
Climate Finance, International Development, Policy Analysis, and Capacity Development
Daisuke Horikoshi is an international climate finance and development specialist with over 20 years of professional experience across Asia and the Pacific. He has worked with the Green Climate Fund (GCF), the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), and the Japan International Cooperation System (JICS), supporting governments and development partners in climate finance, international development, institutional capacity development, and independent evaluation. His work focuses on bridging policy, finance and implementation to advance climate investment and sustainable development.
