The 2016 NRCT award ceremony was held on 2 February 2017 at Bangkok International Trade & Exhibition Centre (BITEC).

JGSEE-CEE is pleased to congratulate Dr Pornlada Daorattanachai and Dr Marisa Raita which their PhD thesis has been selected as the 2015 outstanding PhD thesis (Engineering and Industrial Research) by the National Research Council of Thailand (NRCT). Dr Pornlada’s thesis entitled “Catalytic Conversion of Lignocellulosic Materials to Furan Compounds by Hydrolysis/Dehydration Process” and Dr Marisa’s thesis entitled “Biocatalytic Production of Biodiesel and Bioethanol from Palm Oil Feedstock”. Both thesis were under the supervision of Prof Dr Navadol Laosiripojana, JGSEE-CEE, KMUTT.
