JGSEE-CEE would like to congratulate Professor Navadol Laosiripojana, JGSEE-CEE director, for receiving the 2020 Science and Technology Award for his Outstanding Development on Bio-refinery Technology from Thailand Toray Science Foundation at the occasion of the 27th Presentation Ceremony. JGSEE is also pleased to congratulate Professor Sakamon Devahasdin from the Department of Food Engineering at KMUTT for receiving the 2019 Science and Technology Award for his Outstanding Development on Food processing. The award was remitted by Thailand Toray Science Foundation at the occasion of the 26th Presentation Ceremony. Because of the COVID-19 pandemic situation, both the 26th and 27th Presentation Ceremonies were held on 12 March 2021 at the Bangkok Marriott Hotel.
Thailand Toray Science Foundation was founded in 1993 via cooperation between Toray Industries, Inc. (Japan) and Toray Group Company in Thailand. The aim of this foundation is to support the progression of “Science and Technology” in Thailand. Each year, therefore, the foundation gives awards and grants to outstanding scientists, institutes, and researchers in Thailand.
