The Seminar Workshop on Research Program “Climate Technology and Innovation (CTI)”

On 11 June 2015, the consortium staffs, Asst. Prof. Dr. Sudarat Tripetchkul & Assoc. Prof. Dr. Usa Humphries from KMUTT and Dr. Chakrit Chotamornsak From CMU visited JGSEE to participate on the workshop under the research program “Climate Technology and Innovation (CTI)” with JGSEE staffs, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sirintornthep Towprayoon, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Amnat Chidthaisong, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Kasemsan Manomaiphiboon, Dr. Dusadee Sukawat, Dr. Komsilp Wangyao, and Dr. Awassada Pongpipat including Ms. Kanlayanee Fusuwankaya, and Ms. Supattra Simawan, the staffs from Earth Systems Science (ESS), KMUTT.

After an effective discussion, it is agreed that the CTI program is divided in to 4 research projects which each project has determined the objectives and planed the activities including the outputs. The 4 research projects are divided by the matrix theme:
Project 1 Development of High Resolution-Grid Data on Climate Change in Thailand
Project 2 Decision Supporting System for Crop Risk Management to Enhance Adaptation to Climate Extremes
Project 3 Development of the Pollutant Dispersion Forecasts for Risk management
Project 4 Impact of Climate Extremes on Water and Forest Resources
