TICA Training Course on Energy Efficiency and Conservation (EE&C) for Global Warming Mitigation

JGSEE-CEE at KMUTT was selected by the Thailand International Cooperation Agency (TICA) to host the Training Course on “Energy Efficiency and Conservation (EE&C) for Global Warming Mitigation” during 3-23 July 2019. The training was held at JGSEE and involved 15 articipants from OIC, FEALAC and ASEAN countries.
The training course included lectures on: Global warming and climate change: their causes and impacts, and mitigation options; Energy fundamentals and outlooks; Energy conservation laws and standards; Energy efficiency improvement technologies; and Energy management system and audit. Aside from the lectures during which theoretical knowledge was disseminated, country report sessions were organised and technical visits arranged in order to provide the trainees with an opportunity to deal with real case-studies and interact with specialised practitioners. The technical excursion included a visit of the Thai Health Promotion Foundation and the District Cooling System and Power Plant Co., Ltd. (DCAP).
