JGSEE-CEE is very pleased to congratulate Assoc Prof Dr Bundit Fungtammasan, the Senior Vice President for Research and Innovation of KMUTT and former director of JGSEE, for being awarded “Officier dans l’Ordre des Palmes Académiques” from the French Government. The ceremony was held on 13 January 2016 at the Residence of France in Bangkok. This prestigious distinction is in recognition of Dr Bundit’s many years of work promoting academic and research collaboration between France and Thailand. During the ceremony, the Ambassador of France and Dr Bundit acknowledged notably the many fruitful Franco-Thai activities initiated when Dr Bundit occupied the position of Director at JGSEE, some of which in close collaboration with the French Embassy.
