MOU with Bangchak

On 14 December 2016, Mr. Chalermchai Udomranu, Senior Executive Vice President of Refinery Business, Bangchak Petroleum Public Company Limited (BCP) and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sirintomthep Towprayoon, Director of JGSEE-CEE at KMUTT signed the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for the research project collaboration on “The study on water management in the refinery process of Bangchak Refinery” (in Thai: โครงการศึกษาการบริหารจัดการน้ำในกระบวนการกลั่นน้ำมัน โรงกลั่นน้ำมันบางจาก).

Prof. Dr. Shabbir H. Gheewala, Head of the Life Cycle Sustainability Lab (LCSAL) of the JGSEE is the project leader. The research project aims to identify water hotspots and enhance water management efficiency in the refinery process by Water Footprint Assessment.
