2015 Research Grant Awards from the Asahi Glass Foundation

JGSEE-CEE is pleased to congratulate Dr Surawut Chuangchote and Mr Uday Pimple, our researchers, for receiving the 2015 Research Grant Award from the Asahi Glass Foundation on 16 June 2015 at KMUTT. For this award, Dr Surawut had performed a study on “Electrochromic Window for Energy Efficient Buildings (Year 2)” and Mr Uday an investigation on “Field Sensor Network (FSN) for Monitoring Mangrove Forest Habitat and Its Environment in Trat Province of Thailand”.

At the occasion of this event, presentations were delivered by researchers who had been awarded by the Asahi Glass Foundation in the previous 2 years. This included a presentation on “Production of Liquid Bio-Fuel from Biomass by the Degradative Solvent Extraction” by Assoc Prof Dr Nakorn Worasuwannarak who had received the 2013 Research Grant Award for this work. Another presentation was on “Electrochromic Window for Energy Efficient Buildings” and was delivered by Dr Surawut Chuangchote who had received the 2014 Research Grant Award.
